MEET OUR VETERINARIANS
John Nowery, DVM
Dr. Nowery is the owner of Pet Medical Center of Westerville. He is a two time graduate of the Ohio State
University with a B.S. in Zoology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He has a strong interest in surgery
and dentistry.
He lives in Westerville with his wife, son and daughter. They have a German Shorthair Pointer Mix (Ruff), Longhaired Chihuahua (Lady), and 1 cat (Divot). They are members of Worthington Christian Church.
Dr. Nowery enjoys landscaping, OSU sports (GO BUCKS!!!), playing basketball and golf, and spending time with his family.
Simona Rikh, DVM
Dr. Simona Rikh received her undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and her Doctorate degree from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduation, she moved back to her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio to practice veterinary medicine. She is excited to finally return to Buckeye Nation and join our family at Pet Medical Center of Westerville.
She is a proud member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association.
Her professional interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and forming close relationships with her patients and clients.
In her free time, Dr. Rikh enjoys cooking, traveling, and crafting – especially jewelry making and scrapbooking. Her 2 dogs and 3 cats graciously allow her and her husband to live with them in their New Albany home.
